We are currently observing our summer hours. Please feel free to stop in during that time or give us a call with your special needs!
Cleveland Bike and Sport is the starting point for a weekly group ride for area cyclists. Every Thrursday night riders of all shapes and sizes turn out for an organized group ride organzed by the Elkhorn Valley Cycling Club.
At least until April 1, rides are starting at 6PM to get some good time in before it gets dark. After that we will start at 6:30PM. Meet behind the shop and be ready to ride.
Ride time is generally 1.5 to 2 hours and pace is whatever your group does. There are groups for everyone from racers to recreational riders. Routes are generally laid out in an out and back or loop so that no one gets left behind or lost.

Feel that? It is getting warmer, the days are getting longer and its time to get outside and enjoy it!! But, make sure you're ready to go.
Stop in and see Cody about your bike first. Whether you are looking to spruce up your current ride with a new chain, cables, seat, grips, etc, or whether you are in the market for a shiny new Trek, Cleveland Bike can help you out.
Next, take care of yourelf. Proper clothing such as layers of lightweight, breathable fabric and an outer wind-stopping jacket will keep you warm and comfortable. Gloves, shoe covers and a helmet liner round out your outerwear needs.
You will need some safety gear for your bike. The increased cloud cover and general lack of daylight means you might get caught out in some low-light conditions. Use a rear-facing red "blinky" light at the very least while giving serious consideration to a headlight appropriate to your needs.
Finally, make sure your seat bag has a spare tube, tire tools, and a multi-tool in it. Maybe an energy bar too - just in case you get hungry.
